Last Tuesday, January 28th, the Film Department of the Dominican Consulate on the West Coast held a meet and greet with Dominican director Osmany Rodriguez. During the breakfast, young Dominican filmmakers were able to learn about the career of the director of SNL, Sunnyside, Mixed-ish, Funny or Die, among others… and ask him questions about his career.
The Emmy-nominated director emphasized the importance of networking, being authentic, and letting "work find you." At the end of the breakfast, Osmany invited the young people to the set of AP BIO, the television show he is currently directing at Universal Studios.
