{"id":32622,"date":"2020-02-26T18:17:26","date_gmt":"2020-02-26T18:17:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consulatedrwest.gob.do\/?page_id=32622"},"modified":"2023-11-16T14:19:50","modified_gmt":"2023-11-16T14:19:50","slug":"visa-de-empresa-laborales","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/consulatedrwest.gob.do\/en\/visa-de-empresa-laborales","title":{"rendered":"Business Visa for Employment Purposes \u2013 For Multinational or Transnational Companies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid mpc-row\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12 mpc-column\" data-column-id=\"mpc_column-376a1623ed59ce5\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p><strong>Business Visa for Employment Purposes \u2013 For Multinational or Transnational Companies<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICANT ABROAD<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Visa <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">full and duly completed by typewriter or in legible print.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Visa Application Letter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (not notarized), addressed to the consul, signed by the company or institution to which the beneficiary belongs, containing the beneficiary&#039;s name, nationality, place of residence, activity to which he\/she is dedicated, financial means available and purpose of travel to the country.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>One (1) 2 x 2 size photograph<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> inches, front and with white background.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Original passport<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with a minimum validity of ONE AND A HALF YEARS (18 months).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Legible photocopy of your Residence Card. (If applicable)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Birth Certificate.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It must be presented in original, duly legalized or<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">apostilled, as appropriate.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Certificate of No Criminal Record<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Not required for minors) issued (within 12 months of the application) by the competent authority (federal authority in the case of federated states) of the countries in which you have resided in the last 5 years, duly legalized or apostilled, as appropriate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Medical Certification<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that the petitioner does not have any infectious or contagious diseases (it should not be apostilled)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Certification by Multinational or Transnational Company:&nbsp;<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>-When they come to reside for a year or more<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: a copy of your employment contract or agreement with the parent company and a transfer letter indicating the position you will occupy and that your remuneration comes from the parent company in your country of origin or provenance, these documents duly legalized or apostilled, as appropriate.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&nbsp;-When they come for less than a year to perform technical work<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Visa application letter from the parent company, indicating the work or technical job that will be performed in Dominican territory, as well as the Dominican company where said work will be carried out. These documents must be duly legalized or apostilled, as appropriate.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>For the guarantor in Dominican Rep.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Letter of Guarantee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> duly notarized and legalized by the Attorney General&#039;s Office, it is essential that this letter of guarantee contains the following clause, so that it can be accepted by our Diplomatic or Consular Mission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WARRANTY CLAUSE:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&quot;I guarantee that (name, nationality, and passport) will not remain in the Dominican Republic longer than the period granted by the General Directorate of Immigration, nor will they apply for residency or change their immigration status from within the Dominican Republic, dedicating themselves exclusively to the activity for which they were granted the visa. &quot;I assume moral and financial responsibility for their return to their country of origin, and I assume responsibility for paying the Dominican State any expenses that said person may incur during their stay in the country, or that arise as a result of their repatriation or deportation from the country.&quot;<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Financial solvency of the guarantor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, can be demonstrated by one or more of these:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2713 Bank letter&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2713 Work letter&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2713 Property titles&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Copy of the guarantor&#039;s identity card.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Include a prepaid (properly stamped) and pre-addressed (with your address) envelope to send your documents and payment to the Dominican Consulate in California. 500 North Brand Blvd. Suite #960, Glendale, CA 91203. (We recommend that the envelope include a tracking number.)
