BIRTH CERTIFICATE TRANSCRIPTION REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 Birth certificate duly apostilled by the Secretary of State of the state that issued it. (The apostilled certificate must be submitted in physical form; it must be the original, not a copy. Please do not remove the original staples.)<\/p>\n

2 Copy of passport (if minor) or foreign driver's license (if adult).<\/p>\n

3 Dominican father or mother identification:
\nCopy of your current Dominican Identity Card and Electoral Card, both sides. (MANDATORY)
\nNote: Birth certificates of either parent CANNOT be used.
\nIt only takes a parent to be a Dominican citizen.
\nProcess duration: 2 and a half months.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Money order 1: Made out to the Dominican Consulate for $145.00 (DOMINICAN CONSULATE). Translation of the deed.
